Significance of Navaratri Durga Puja

Ma Durga is a form of Ma Adhya Sakti, who stands for the world’s life and existence. She is thought of as the most powerful energy that is in everything. The immortal Hindu goddess Maha Sakti is a combination of the three supreme goddesses: Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Maha Kali.
Durga, which is what her name means, means “the unbeatable.”

Ma Durga is also worshipped as a sign that good will win over evil. The Vedas say that she is a strong god who rides a lion and has different kinds of weapons in each of her eight hands. The weapons show that Mahisasura was the reason she was made. Each of the eight weapons in her hands shows that she has the power to destroy evil in all directions.

Every day of Navratri, Ma Durga is worshipped in a different form, such as Maa Shailputri, Maa Bhramacharini, Maa Chandraghanta, Maa Kushmanda, Skand Mata, Maa Katyayani, Maa Kaalratri, Maa Maha Gauri, and Maa Siddidhatri.
